Paradise Valley Mid-Century Modern Addition & Remodel

A thoughtful addition and comprehensive renovation transformed this mid-century modern residence in Paradise Valley while preserving the architectural intent of the original home.

The addition was carefully designed to seamlessly complement the existing architecture, respecting its expansive walls of glass and celebrated views of Camelback Mountain. The renovation focused on enhancing both the home's livability and its connection to the surrounding landscape.

At the heart of the project, the kitchen was significantly expanded and the floor plan reimagined by removing a large load-bearing wall. New window openings were strategically introduced into the existing masonry walls, creating new view corridors, welcoming guests with immediate visual connections to the outdoors, and flooding the interior with natural daylight.

What was once a dark, confined kitchen became the vibrant center of the home—a spacious gathering place designed for everyday family life, entertaining, and celebrating the dramatic desert landscape beyond.
